A PHOTOGRAPHIC COMMEMORATION OF THE SHELSLEY 100 WEEK-END 2005 by JERRY STURMAN

Shelsley Walsh is the oldest motorsport venue in the world that is still used. 100 years of speed hill climbing was celebrated over the weekend of 21st August 2005 when a sell out crowd packed the hill side to witness the best meeting the has ever seen. A total of seven new records including a brand new outright record from Martin Groves in 23.77. a new Ladies Record in 26.94 for Sue Young and a new sports car record for Nic Mann were the highpoint.
