In 2008, the scoring system was revised to make a greater use of Class records than before. Previously a single bonus point was awarded for setting a new class record at a particular venue and the system relied on an informal understanding of these records. For 2009 a couple of minor changes were made, specifically where no class record has previously been set at a venue.

As points can be scored depending on a competitor's best time in relation to the class record it is very important that these records are verifiable and traceable. These can be found below.

It has been decided to take the records from the results of HSA Championship competitors from 2006 onwards. As you will no doubt appreciate this has involved a lot of data entry and mistakes may exist. If you consider any of the information is not correct, times are incorrect, or any other problems then please email the Championship Co-ordinator direct.
